Pride demonstratie

The first pride was not just a riot, it was a queer uprising against police brutality and state violence led by trans women of color, working class queers, sex workers, and young people. What is pride, then, but a collective celebration of queer & trans resistance and rebellion in all its forms. This is the pride we choose to honor and celebrate.

This year, we take to the streets in solidarity with our queer and trans kin living in limbo in the asylum system, locked up in refugee camps.

Stile protest Utrecht

Afgelopen donderdag was er een stilte protest georganiseerd door vluchtelingen kinderen Utrecht.
Voor de ongeveer 2.500 alleen reizende minderjarige asielzoekers  (AMA’s), die vast zitten op de overvolle kampen in griekenland.

Enkele maanden terug heeft Griekenland een noodoproep uitgestuurd naar andere Europese landen om 2.500 AMA op te nemen. Meerdere landen hebben toegezegd dit doen. Alleen Nederland heeft dit niet gedaan. Lokale gemeentes zijn bereid de  AMA’s op te vangen, alleen het kabinet hou dit tegen.

Stand in acu

Once a month the anarchist collective will put its stand up during the barricade in the ACU. This is to spread more anarchist ideas and to be more visible. We will be present from 16:00 until 19:00. So come by to get new zines, stickers, buttons and posters. We wont be on a fixed sunday of the month, so check the website before hand. The first time will be on the 16th of february.

Security Culture day

On the 15th of December, AK-Utrecht is organizing a day about security culture. There will be a basic workshop and one on digital security. If you are new to activism, then come by. Door open at 16:00, first workshop at 17:00

The stand of AK-Utrecht will also be there. There will be zines, posters, patches, stickers and buttons.

Solidariteit met de antifascist uit Nijmegen

Afgelopen zondag waren er tijdens de jaarlijks anti-racisme demonstratie in Amsterdam, ook activisten van AK-Utrecht aanwezig. Die liepen mee in het Antifa blok, net zoals de dame uit Nijmegen. Ook die activisten hebben de leus geroepen, als werd er bij hen geen camera onder de neus geduwd. Wij verklaren ons solidair met de activist. En wat al die opmerkingen van de politiek betreft. Grote bek, klein hartje. Verder plaatsen we de tekst van joke kaviaar, die kan het altijd zo mooi omschrijven.

 

Stop de heksenjacht op antifascisten!

On the 6 of january, the anarchist collective Utrecht will organize an informal meeting. It goals to let new people meet local anarchists. There will be stands, the anarchist black cross. Where you can write to prisoners, the showing of an episode of trouble and more. If you want to know your local anarchist, come on the 6 of january to the ACU.
